🚀 New: Industry-First Content Guide for On-Brand Changelogs

We’re introducing an industry-first Content Guide - a centralized reference that helps your team publish changelogs with a consistent, on-brand tone of voice.

No other changelog tool provides this level of structured guidance, and it reflects how deeply Olvy is investing in improving Product Comms for modern product teams.

Workspace builders can define and update the Content Guide under Changelog → Settings.

When creating a new release, the guide appears inline as a reference, so teams stay aligned on tone, style, and communication expectations.

Note - This feature is not available on the Free plan of the app.

🛠️ Fixes & Improvements

📅 Past-Dated Publishing Message

Updated helper text when selecting a past publish date: “You are publishing a past-dated release, it will be live immediately on publish!”

✏️ Unpublished Changes Indicator

Fixed an issue where the “You have unpublished changes” message appeared even without making any edits. It now shows only after the first actual change.

📂 Project & Category Selector

Resolved inconsistent behavior where the dropdown failed to open if an option was already selected. Selector flow is now reliable and consistent.

✉️ Email Preview Rendering

Addressed an issue where the featured image and release title broke in email previews. They now render correctly and match the release page and widget preview.
